Staying connected and working from home

Staying connected and working from home

The COVID-19 pandemic  induced lock-down protocols have globally impacted how people work and live. One of the most significant effects has been the increase in demand for network devices and services as people sought to stay connected. Zimbabwean organisations also facilitated ‘Working from home’ for all staff members that could do so. Universities and colleges also shifted to e-learning solutions.

Of note in Zimbabwe is the demand for MiFi devices that support 4G LTE and 3G simcards. MNOs in Zimbabwe have also rolled out different data packages that seek to cater for the connection needs of organisations such as churches, companies and educational institutions. One device that is a must have in this new normal is a mobile wireless router (MiFi). One such ideal device is the TP Link M7000.
